Interview with Lori Kunkel
Happy Midterms! We are already half way through the semester! Now is a good time to get to know Lori Kunkel, the administrative assistant here at Studio Angelico.
LaRoy: What is your position called? What do you do for your job?
Kunkel: Administrative Assistant - Art Department: I assist the students and faculty in Studio Angelico as well as visitors, alumni and future students that tour our facility.
L: What is your favorite part of your job?
K: Working alongside both students and faculty and being involved in the various activities that take place in Studio Angelico.
L: How long have you worked here?
K: I’ve been with SHU for 10 years; 5 of which have been in the Art Department.
L: What drew you to Siena?
K: Prior to working at Siena, I participated in the Annual 5K Alumni Run and my daughters enjoyed attending summer camps at the University. I enjoyed coming to campus…the SHU community was always very welcoming!
L: How do you see your role here?
K: I feel I am an intricate part of the Art Department, working closely with both students and faculty members. I enjoy being part of this creative team!
L: How was your last trip to Florida?
K: Every trip to Florida is FABULOUS! I enjoy spending my time in Florida walking the beach, running, biking and boating with my family and friends!
L: Please, tell us about you dogs. 😊
K: I have three very spoiled dogs; two Bernese Mountain Dogs (Parker & Barton) and one French Bull Dog (Buddy). They keep me busy when I’m not at SHU!
