Studio Angelico's Apron Design 2019

Each year, Studio Angelico designs a new apron to distribute to faculty, and to teachers from surrounding high schools. One hundred and sixty aprons were ordered this year and were mailed to local high school art department teachers. Madison Laroy, a senior majoring in Graphic Design, designed this apron for the 2019 school year. It is inspired by a sculpture from the John D. Wittersheim Sculpture Park here on Siena Heights University’s campus. The sculpture is titled “Celestial Navigator” by Ray Katz.

Jason Sanderson, a Siena Heights University alum, teaches art at Bedford High School. He has received many aprons from Studio Angelico and now has a growing collection! After wearing them for a year, students can wear them in the classroom.
